What you get
Journalism without fear
Local and World
Two feeds: your country and the whole world.
Public Newsroom
Reports also appear on news.linework.app, so they reach readers outside the app.
Clean media
Photos and videos are re-encoded on your device: no GPS, no device data, random names.
Truly anonymous
Anonymous posts are saved with no author at all: there is nothing to leak or hand over.
Human moderation
Doxxing, incitement and illegal material are removed; trustworthy reports get a green “Verified” mark.
Hidden groups
Work with other reporters in protected groups.
How it works
From the facts to the world
Open LineNews
From its icon in the app, from Trends, or on web.linework.app/linenews.
Read the safety guide
The first time, a short guide explains what anonymity can and cannot protect.
Write and choose how to sign
Title, facts, optional testimony, photo or video; real name, pen name or anonymous.
Publish
Your report goes live in the Local or World feed and on the public Newsroom.
Honest about the limits
No system gives perfect anonymity. Your carrier or Wi-Fi can see that you connected to Linework, and the content itself — a face, a plate, a detail only few people know — can identify you. If you could be seriously harmed, use Tor or a trusted VPN as well and always publish anonymously.
