What you get

Two ways to ride

  • NCC (private hire)

    Fixed price agreed before the ride. Book from 30 minutes to 7 days ahead.

  • Licensed taxi

    Estimate shown before; the final price is the city meter fare. Only now.

  • Share the ride

    Send a link to someone you trust: they follow the ride on a map.

  • SOS

    One tap calls emergency services; the alert is recorded on the ride.

  • Fair cancellations

    Free until a driver is assigned and for 2 minutes after.

  • Receipt and rating

    Date, service, distance, duration and payment; rate from 1 to 5 stars.

How it works

From pickup to drop-off

  1. Set pickup and destination

    Your position (you can change it) and where you want to go.

  2. Choose NCC or taxi

    Each option shows when a driver can arrive.

  3. Pay and meet your driver

    Pay from your wallet; check photo, car and plate before getting in.

  4. Start with your PIN

    Tell the driver your 4-digit PIN: the ride starts only with the right one.

Opening city by city

LineX opens city by city and country by country, only where the local rules for drivers are set. Where it is not active yet you see “Coming soon”. During the launch phase some rides are marked “Test ride”: nothing is charged. Do you drive an NCC or a taxi? Apply in Linework Drive.
