LineIn
The professional network where nobody can lie
On LineIn every profile belongs to a real person, and every job and degree can be checked. When something does not add up we ask for proof — and what cannot be proven does not stay on the profile.
- Real people onlyOne person, one profile. No fake, duplicate or ghost accounts.
- Checked careersCompanies, schools and universities are cross-checked with public data.
- Proof on requestDegrees and jobs can be asked to be proven with a document, within a deadline.
Why it matters
A revolution for professional social networks
On many social and professional networks anyone can invent a job title, a degree or an entire life, open several profiles or pretend to be someone else. Recruiters, companies and people pay the price. LineIn is built the other way round: trust comes first.
| Usual social networks | LineIn | |
|---|---|---|
| Degrees and job titles | Typed in, never checked | Cross-checked; proof can be required |
| Fake or duplicate profiles | Common | Not allowed: one real person, one profile |
| Impersonating people or titles | Hard to stop | Profile suspended, account can be closed |
| What you see on a profile | What the user wrote | What the user wrote and could prove, with a “Verified” badge |
How verification works
From declared to verified
You add an experience or a degree
It appears on your profile as declared. Linework automatically links it to the company, school or university and its public data (official name, logo, website, country).
We cross-check it
The Linework team reviews new entries and the reports from other users. If something does not match public data, we ask you for proof by email and in the app.
You upload the proof
A diploma or degree certificate, transcript, employment contract or letter, payslip — PDF or photo, from the entry itself. You have a deadline (normally 14 days).
Verified, or removed
If the proof is valid the entry gets the “Verified” badge. If it does not arrive in time or is not genuine, the entry is removed from your profile. For any question write to support@linework.app.
Rules in force
What you accept when you open LineIn
Before opening a LineIn profile everyone accepts these rules. They are enforced by our servers, not only in the app.
- In force
Only true information
Experiences, companies, schools, degrees and dates must be true and yours.
- In force
One real person, one profile
No fake, duplicate, shared or ghost profiles.
- In force
No impersonation
You cannot pretend to be another person, use their name, photo or titles, or claim to represent a company without authorisation.
- In force
Proof when asked
If the team asks for proof you must send it within the deadline, otherwise the entry is removed.
- In force
Consequences
Serious or repeated false information, fake profiles or impersonation lead to the suspension of the LineIn profile and can lead to the closure of the Linework account.
- In force
Report what is false
Anyone can report an entry they believe is false. Reports are reviewed by the team; abusive reports are not tolerated.
Your documents
Proof is private
Seen only by the team
The documents you upload are stored privately and are seen only by the Linework team, only to verify the entry. They are never shown on your profile.
Only what is needed
You can cover data that is not needed (for example amounts on a payslip) as long as name, organisation, role or title and dates are readable.
Questions
Write to support@linework.app for anything about your verification.
Creating a profile in someone else’s name or with stolen titles is not a joke: the profile is closed and, where required, the case is reported to the competent authorities.
